This is the PERFECT book to encourage a child to read. It is a modern update to the old chose your own path books that so many of us read as kids. This book (it is part of a series) is even better though, the illustrations are better and the story makes sense. You really never lose but instead you explore until you find the correct way to the end of the story.
Let me put this in simply terms, if you want a child to WANT to read, if you enjoy the idea of helping a youngster develop their imagination and you want a book that will draw them back to reading it over and over again, then this is what you want to get. I was so totally impressed with this book that I did not do the review on the weekend because I wanted to make sure that as many of this blogs readers would discover the book and weekends are a bit slower then weekdays.
